Here's an ensemble I've owned for close to 20 years. It's allegedly from a small museum that closed and sold off its possessions.
The helmet is made by the Australian firm Lasica in 1942. It's identical to the British Type B except the Aussie model has a thin strap and buckle across the forehead.
Goggles are typical Mark IVs and the oxygen mask a Type G with Type 28 carbon microphone.
W/O Mullet is pencilled inside. My research could only uncover a W/O Aubrey Mullett, an observer who served with several squadrons including a period attached to the USAAF. Despite the spelling, I'm assuming it's the same person.

Very nice COMPLETE helmet. Most are just the leather,maybe the goggles but yours has it all. Great stuff, BB
