    Assmann para badge

Received this nicely worn piece recently.
The unsubstantiated story is that it's a GI's souvenir from Monte Casino.

A mate commissioned me to complete this Wingnutwings 1/32 scale Albatros DV. I finished it as a machine flown by ace Max Ritter von Muller.

    Thanks, Dave.

I never had any intention of collecting party awards but I couldn't resist. Must be change of life.

These are seldom encountered down here, much less so in a box.

I was very fortunate to acquire this nice piece from estand.

The bottom of the box is faintly stamped M1/120 (Deumer).

    Thanks for the encouraging comments.

Wilhelm, I understand those buttons are for attaching ID armbands. These would have been used more on the white side when the enemy also wore white camo.

    P-40B Flying Tiger

Just completed this Trumpeter 1/32 kit.

Used Pollyscale and Tamiya acrylic paints and Eagle Editions decals.

Not a bad kit except for the lousy internal cockpit dimensions.
