Wow, that's pretty neat. I have never heard of this variation before. Did they ever mention these in Weaver's book?

"P" marked scope? Very common - - I'll give you $500 for it.
Yes. Check out the top of page 252. Claus's website under ZF4 serial number study lists 3 other "P" marked scopes, one being suspect. The other two are near in SN range (58068 and 65067). This is not to say that more do not exist as I am sure several must be in private collections. It is very rare to see one surface like this and in such good condition.
