    I always love this photo. Of note is that they both still have the national colors decal on their helmets.

    two Thompsons. an M1 and a 1928. a few Garands, and I cant name too many of the others without more study. great pic.

    I count 8 M1s at least. Or? Some GIs off to POW land. Not to mention KIA.

    The guy on the left has 6 and the other has 2. Maybe one is an 03A3?

    Yah,,after I posted it I went back and counted and counted 8...but when I went back to delete the post it was not there...delayed posting I guess.

    EAsy enough getting the guns...wonder how hard it was securing an adequate stash of ammo..?

    I have yet to see a pic of a kraut using a US weapon in action...I'm sure they are out there..just havent seen one ...yet.

    I've seen a couple. Taken in N. Afrika while it is raining. One guy has a Thompson, but he could have got it off a Brit.

    Possible Luftwaffe men seem to be wearing coveralls made from Italian cammo or Russian Ameboea Italy Im betting Italian. timothy
