    Default ... semi-auto 8mm rifle .........

... saw a really neat looking german rifle today. kinda had a rotory magazine like a johnson.. top was stamped "mod. 1936" & "stendebach" ..? no other numbers or stuff. had a flip up rear peep sight; very heavy and some of the bands and butt plate were aluminum. very robust looking and expensive..... clip pic to enlarge!

I am interested in that as well. Looks like a very substantial weapon, I wouldn't want to lug that around.

This rifle was at the 2017 SOS show some time of earlyGerman trials rifle. Action is like a Luger, loading is almost like a Johnson, and with a weird recoil action system. Even stranger is use the rear sight you raise the lever for it in the back by the receiver end. Guarantee that part would have been broken quick. That part itself was very fragile. Rifle was neat but as a combat weapon an over-engineered mess. Could not imagine taking that thing apart for cleaning let along into combat.

As for price its around $20,000
