    In comparison to the BCD 4s that went recently for big money, this rifle is a good deal.

    What's going on with the top of the receiver and barrel in the chamber area? It looks like it was pitted and someone tried to remove it? pitting.PNG Look right in the numerals of the date as well.

    And I really can't say if the two psychos who paid over $4k for those rifles have set the bar there, especially given who the sellers were.

    perhaps a post war rebarrel. dot rifles expected to have dot barrels... and this one appears as E/214. Also, is that a 7,x on the collar??? Never on an orig dot '43 barrel
