I thank thee, Lord, for my one good knee,


and all the times Iíve lost, and found my keys,


for grandkids to spoil in late December


and every name I still can remember.


Give me more days when I can sleep past seven


and a few more nights when Iím up past eleven.


Keep me from fear, shield me from doubt,


and help me leave with grace when the candle finally burns out.
