Maybe not? It is a real matching SS contract, the stock sanding is the biggest issue.

The single rune is good under the rear sight? Never saw one like that.

This one is mine. I don't understand the problem with anything, including the eagle h. There are some 44 bnz ss contacts in the k98kforum pic stickies that are the same. They are in the books as well. I don't think the stock was marked in 43. I am only selling this to fund a g.b win I wasn't planning on.

I am just a student, learning each day about this hobby and this example appears to violate some of the rules for SS contract rifles that we thought we knew. Iím not saying there are problems, just asking the questions. Extranious Runes and a Heer acceptance donít fit the model but may be entirely correct.

Well this one is Mr farbs and is on the pic sticky with an eagle h

As for the rune, it's not visible unless you take the stock off and turn the rifle upside down. Not sure why it would be faked in that location

After following my own advice from an earlier post, I consulted “Kriegsmodell” volume 3. Simply stated, rifles with the stock acceptance exist but are not typical of SS contract rifles. Nothing mentioned about the rune.

I have seen runes on bnz guns before, in that location, and not only on SS bnz contract.

The eagle H stock I had not seen or noticed before.
