Thread: WTK bolt for cleaning origin fits into 1891 Argentines but not seen in any books?

Default WTK bolt for cleaning origin fits into 1891 Argentines but not seen in any books?

This has stumped me. I found a couple in a load of 1891 parts we received. The bolts fit easily into any 1891 rifle or carbine I pick out. It is hollow with one lug forward. Pictures below. Not all are marked with unit markings.

I also found Argentine canvas for the Engineer carbines rifles and standard carbines with the correct leather accoutremonts.
    Any help is appreciated.

    Default 1891 Arg.

Try asking on Gunboards Forums or contacting Raul on same. He lives in Argentina and has a lot of knowledge of their arms.

Hey Guys, it is a cleaning accessory. You can insert that, instead of the bolt, and it blocks off the magazine and allows the cleaning to occur without having any dripping into the mag. late answer, but better never. I just picked up a nice Argentine 1090 original sniper rig and scope and one came with it
