    Default Revell Sopwith Camel

As I'm a glutton for punishment, I had a go at an old Revell 1/28 Sopwith Camel. It's not so bad considering its age.
The markings are 4 Squadron, Australian Flying Corps, France mid-1918.

Very, very nice. I envy your skill and patienece. I remember these when I was a kid in the '50,s . Revell was the big model maker and we couldn't wait for their next product. Mine never came close to looking like this. Take care, BB

Your efforts are great. My attempts at model building ???? Well, let's just say the word pathetic is an understatement.

    Gentlemen,

Thanks for the kind comments. It's headed for display at a military bookshop and hopefully someone may shell out a few dollars for it.

One thing though, I couldn't possibly have managed it without the help of superglue. As it was, it nearly ended up in the bin a few times.
