    Field modification of a 2 pocket green work tunic into a 4 pocket combat tunic / note how one of the chest pockets is placed way too high.

    That is a unique piece. That's the one you got at the show? It shows us that inconcistant was consistant with German war time production.

    Indeed, it shows that the shortages of material and suitable equipment were very real, making shortcuts, and modification of existing war materials, more the norm, not the exception, as the war dragged on.

    Indeed unique late war piece hope you don't mind here is another of a cut down m43 to m44 style done late war from a damaged tunic. Nice example you show. timothy
